The selection panel for the recruitment of nominees for appointment as Chairperson of the Public Service Commission (PSC) has shortlisted 12 candidates for the position.
In a notice on Thursday, December 4, the panel said it shortlisted the 12 candidates from a total of 52 applicants.
“After considering the applications, the selection panel shortlisted the following candidates to appear for interviews on the dates and times indicated against their names,” read the notice in part.
The shortlisted candidates include: former IEBC Commissioner Boya Molu and former NTSA Director General Francis Meja.
Others are: Francis Otieno Owino, Beverly Khasoa Opwora, Simeon Pkiyach, Daniel Waisiko Wambura, Jane Musangi Mutua, Simon Nabukwesi, Reuben Kipkemoi Chirchir, Mary Kimonye, James Tuitoek, and Patrick Omutia.
The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed from Monday, December 15, 2025, to Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), fourth floor, boardroom.
PSC urged the candidates to arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before their scheduled interview time.
“The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), fourth floor, boardroom, Nairobi, on the dates and times indicated in the schedule.
“Candidates should report at the Venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled interview time,” PSC stated.

The candidates are required to bring original national identity card, academic and professional certificates and transcripts and valid clearances from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Directorate of Criminal Investigation, Credit Reference Bureau, Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) and a self-declaration form duly stamped by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
They should also present a letter of recognition of qualifications from the Commission for University Education (CUE) for candidates who possess degrees from foreign universities, and any other supporting documents and testimonials.
Further, the commission invited the public to provide any information relating to any of the shortlisted candidates through sworn Affidavits to the Chairperson of the Selection Panel at Harambee House, 9th Floor, Room 306/300, Harambee Avenue, Nairobi.
