Man, 77, dies after checking into a lodging with a 32-year-old woman in the Mwala area of Machakos County.

The 77-year-old man was found dead in Shammah Hotel in Machakos.

He was in the company of a 32-year-old woman when he suddenly collapsed and passed away, as reported by the police.

According to authorities, the incident occurred at a hotel in Masii Market on Saturday evening.

The woman rushed to the reception, stating that the old man was gasping for air, prompting the hotel management to respond.

Upon arrival, they found the man lying naked and unconscious. It was later confirmed that the man had passed away.

According to the report made at the Masii Police Station in Mwala sub-county, the deceased’s bag was found to have 25 tablets of sexual booster, four of which were empty. 

“The body was taken to Machakos funeral home awaiting postmortem, and the lady booked for further interrogation,” the report indicated.

The woman was questioned and then released to await an autopsy report, which will determine the cause of death.
