Detectives in Nakuru are investigating a fire that claimed the life of an 83-year-old woman, Leah Wanjiru Kamau.
The incident occurred Friday night at her home in Mbaruku, stage 1 last night.
According to Gilgil Sub County Police Commander Winstone Mwakio, the fire broke out while Wanjiru was asleep, destroying her home of over 50 years.
