Police rescue 9-year-old boy from abductors who happened to be his teachers.
A grade three pupil in Donholm, Nairobi was saved from the hands of his abductors who happened to be his teachers.
According to investigators attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the 9-year-old was to be picked up from school by his father who found out he was missing.
He would then get a call from one of the abductors demanding a Sh 10 million ransom for him to have his son back.
Anxious of the events, the boy’s father filed a report at the Buruburu Police Station whose officers took over the matter.
In collaboration with detectives from the Nairobi Regional Command, the Buruburu officers embarked on a successful mission to trace the minor.

The hideout had been rented by the rogue teachers, the investigators established.
The officers took the boy to hospital for checks before being reunited with his family.
As the youngster underwent medical tests, the detectives were striving to pursue the suspects.
After hours of toil and moil, the detectives managed to arrest a suspect namely Fredrick Odhiambo, after he was found making the demands for ransom in exchange for the minor’s freedom.
A motorcycle, mobile phone, and other items believed to have been used in the commission of the heartless act, were recovered and kept at exhibit.
Meanwhile, a manhunt has been launched to apprehend more suspects who are still at large.
