Police officers in Nakuru county are investigating an incident where a 57-year-old man died under mysterious circumstances after checking into a lodging

Police officers in Nakuru county are investigating an incident where a 57-year-old man died under mysterious circumstances after checking into a lodging. 

According to reports, the man is said to have checked into the hotel at around 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, with a 21-year-old lady.

However, moments after checking in, the lady rushed to the reception to ask for help. 

A police report indicated that the frightened lady told the receptionist that the middle-aged man was having breathing difficulties. 

The receptionist sought help from the police who visited the scene of the incident.

“The scene was visited, processed and documented by officers from Kaptembwo police station, CSI personnel, and DCI Nakuru West and found the body lying on the bed with no visible physical injuries,” the report indicated in part. 

The body was moved to the Nakuru County Municipal morgue awaiting post-mortem. 

This comes after another man died in Kajiado after visiting his girlfriend, 23-year-old woman.

The suspect told police that she prepared lunch for him before they went to bed, but the man fell unconscious. 

The police report shows the man was pronounced dead on arrival at the Pona Hospital, where he had been rushed for treatment.
