A female employee at the Government Printers collapsed and died at her workplace on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 in an incident that shocked colleagues.

The incident occurred in the afternoon at the office located off Haile Selassie Avenue in Nairobi.

Witnesses rushed Emmah Nyaaga to Rhodes Chest Clinic, but she was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Authorities have since moved her body to the mortuary as investigations into the cause of death continue.

Her family revealed that she had no known medical complications.

In a similar incident in Kitui County, Serah Musembi collapsed at her home in Ikothamwithi village and was taken to Mbitini Health Center, where doctors confirmed she had passed away.

Reports indicate that she had a history of ulcers. Her remains were transferred to Kitui General Hospital Mortuary for further examination.

Meanwhile, in Lugari, Kakamega County, 35-year-old Esau Kipruto was found dead beside a footpath in Sokyot Village.

Authorities confirmed there were no visible injuries, and his body was taken to the morgue for preservation and an autopsy.

Authorities have noted a rise in cases of sudden deaths, with at least five reported daily across the country. Investigations into these incidents are ongoing.
