Alarm over Kisii politicians dishing out TSC and KFS appointment letters

ODM raises concern over politicians from the Kisii region attending social events carrying Teachers Service Commission (TSC) appointment letters
ODM raises concern over politicians from the Kisii region attending social events carrying Teachers Service Commission (TSC) appointment letters.
Speaking after the chaotic scene witnessed on Sunday, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) MP stated that this was caused by his UDA colleague who started dishing out employment letters.
“One UDA MP started dishing TSC employment letters and Kenya Forestry Services employment letters,” the MP explained the genesis of the fight.
Kitutu Chache Member of Parliament Anthony Kibagendi remarked that this would be discussed in Parliament.
“We are going to ask hard questions in Parliament about how some MPs can be walking around with employment letters for certain government departments,” he remarked.
This was not the first time leaders from the region dished out appointment letters during an event.

Last year, MP Silvanus Osoro remarked that he had been given 100 TSC appointment letters for his constituency.
The National Assembly Majority Whip explaining how the region was benefiting from the government revealed that the letters in his possession were a preserve for South Mugirango constituents.
Months later, Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu also handed out TSC appointment letters during a funeral event in the Kisii region.
At one point, a young man walked to the dais and kneeled in front of the CS begging for help.
“Are you a teacher?” Machogu asked the young man and after he nodded he was handed an appointment letter.
