Arsenal target Gabriel Jesus breaks silence after £200,000-a-week salary offer
Arsenal target Gabriel Jesus breaks silence on future after Arsenal offered him £200,000-a-week salary.
Gabriel Jesus has spoken out about his future with Manchester City in the wake of Arsenal’s interest.
The Brazilian forward has been linked with a move away from the club, with Fabrizio Romano confirming his departure from Manchester City this summer and Arsenal expressing interest in signing him.
His future will be resolved next week, with Arsenal ready to almost double the Manchester City striker’s wages.
The Brazilian’s representatives are due in Manchester for crunch talks with the Premier League champions.
Jesus, 25, is understood to be keen to move to Arsenal, where his pay would rocket from £110,000-a-week to £200,000-a-week.
A move to the Emirates would also see Jesus re-united with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, with whom he worked at City.
Pep Guardiola is expected to reluctantly sanction the sale if Jesus says he wants to go.

“I’m looking to see what’s best for me and above all, for my career. From Tuesday, we’ll see what is the best,” said Jesus, as revealed by Metro.
However, he didn’t give out too much information, but dropped a hint that there’s a chance he will leave the club in the coming weeks.
Arsenal will be desperate to sign a striker this window, with Alexandre Lacazette leaving the club on a free transfer.
