An autopsy conducted by the Chief Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor has revealed what caused the death of Wells Fargo HR Willis Ayieko.
Speaking to the media after conducting the exercise at the Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 29, Oduor informed the public that Ayieko died as a result of head injuries.
According to the pathologist, there was some presence of bleeding in the brain.
Additionally, there were some bruises on his wrists to suggest that his killers tied his hands during the incident.
Meanwhile, the autopsy results also detailed that animals ate some parts of the body after his killers discarded the body near Yala.
“There was bleeding to the brain. Other than that there were bruises on the wrists caused by some cuffs found on him. There were also missing tissues on the mouth, ear and cheek,” he divulged.
“We found a dead crab on the clothes. We think they were targeting the soft parts of the body.”

Ayieko was found dead after his family reported him missing. At the time of his death, the Wells Fargo boss had travelled to his rural home to attend a funeral.
Meanwhile, police have arrested one man in connection with the murder. Investigations are ongoing to establish other killers and the motive of the murder.
“The suspect identified as Victor Ouma Okoth was flushed out of his hideout in Nairobi’s Dandora Phase IV last night, where he had rented a house using proceeds of the heinous crime,” DCI reported.
The suspect (being held at Muthaiga Police Station) was placed at the scene of crime through forensic analysis, in the forensic-led investigation being conducted by a joint team of DCI’s Homicide, CRIB and Operations detectives.
