Azimio executive director Raphael Tuju reveals what awaits DCI Kinoti and him if Ruto wins the presidency

Azimio executive director Raphael Tuju has revealed what awaits DCI George Kinoti and him if Ruto wins the presidency in the August election.

Former Jubilee party secretary-general Raphael Tuju has said that he and Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti will be forced into exile if Deputy President William Ruto wins the presidency in the August 9 General Election.

Speaking to Weru TV on Monday, July 25, Raphael Tuju who is also the executive director of the Azimio Coalition Party secretariat said DP Ruto was interfering with DCI’s work.

“If Ruto is fighting Kinoti this early what will happen if he wins the elections? I think I and Kinoti will flee to another country. In fact, Kinoti will be forced to go to exile just like Kiraitu Murungi went to exile. I can say this without risk of contradiction,” Tuju said.

Tuju said Kenyans are safe in the country because of the people like DCI boss George Kinoti and his team.

“Therefore, we have not had terrorist attacks in the past two to three years, but this is the person who Ruto wants to send away. Kinoti has a job, he is the DCI director, and that doesn’t depend on elections. That is his profession, and he is very capable,” Tuju added.
