Bukayo Saka close to agreeing Arsenal contract extension, Fabrizio reports
Bukayo Saka close to agreeing Arsenal contract extension according to Fabrizio Romano’s update.
Bukayo Saka’s contract extension has always been a priority for Arsenal, talks are still ongoing with his agent in order to reach a full agreement on a long-term deal.
The winger has been one of the Gunners’ stand-out players over the last two seasons, and the club want to improve his terms.
According to Romano, the Gunners are in talks over a long-term deal, with Saka currently tied down to just two more years.
According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Bukayo Saka is “happy” at Arsenal, and talks with his representatives about a new deal are ongoing.

Bukayo Saka Arsenal contract extension
The England international is contracted to the Gunners until 2024 but we’re understandably keen to tie him down for much longer with the biggest clubs in Europe keeping tabs on his progress.
As things stand, Saka is one of the club’s lowest earners having last agreed terms in July 2020 not long after becoming a regular in the senior team.
Recently voted the club’s player of the year, he’s in line for a bumper pay rise that should put him on a par with some of the squad’s biggest earners.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are said to have reached an agreement in principle over the signing of Oleksandr Zinchenko.
According to Fabrizio Romano, a £ 30 million deal has been agreed, with Zinchenko hoping to move on to secure regular football this summer.
He tweeted: “Arsenal and Manchester City have now reached a verbal agreement in principle for Oleksandr Zinchenko, fee around £30m. Personal terms are still discussed.
