According to The Daily Mail, Chelsea is interested in Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal player Gabriel Martinelli.
According to the source, leading Premier League clubs are showing interest in Arsenal forward Martinelli.
Chelsea, who compete against Arsenal in the London and Premier League, are apparently keeping an eye on the Brazilian attacker, age 21, who this weekend was referred to by his Gunners teammate Gabriel Jesus as a “machine.”
Martinelli’s long-term future is apparently tied to the North London club, and the Gunners want him to sign a new contract.
However, Chelsea are unlikely to be able to sign Gabriel Martinelli from Arsenal anytime soon.
Arsenal are a massive club and a global brand and have had a good campaign so far this season.
Martinelli is one of the best young attacking players out there, and Arsenal will be fully aware of what he can achieve in the coming years.
The Brazil international forward has scored 14 goals and created 11 big chances in 65 Premier League appearances for Arsenal so far in his career.
