Chelsea are anticipating a busy summer once Todd Boehly’s group completes its takeover of the club, with manager Thomas Tuchel preparing to overhaul his squad for the next season.
There is a lot to do with Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen both departing the club, as well as Mason Mount and Reece James needing new contracts.

Kounde alternatives
Sevilla’s Jules Kounde is Chelsea’s top priority to fill a center-back role this summer.
After talks broke down last year, the 23-year-old has a verbal agreement to move this summer and wants to join Stamford Bridge.
The player had already committed to a contract with the west London club, but the deal fell through due to the money and the lateness of the talks.
The Liga outfit wants roughly £59 million ($73 million) for the France international defender, who can play at both center-back and right-back.
Meanwhile, according to Goal, Chelsea have also looked at other centre-backs, as at least two are leaving the club.
The options include PSG’s Presnel Kimpembe, RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol and Atletico Madrid’s Jose Gimenez.
