And now, Chelsea target Gleison Bremer has revealed he is desperate to leave Torino and was promised he would get the opportunity to move to a bigger club.
And according to a few reports in the media – Torino’s Bremer is one of the defenders Chelsea could look at signing over the course of the summer window.
Bremer has been brilliant in recent seasons and is ready to play for one of the world’s greatest clubs, which has sparked a lot of speculations.
Now, amid reports that Chelsea are interested in signing the Brazilian, he has gone out and stated that he is desperate to leave Torino for a larger team.
Speaking to ESPN via Sempre Inter, he said: “I told the coach and the management [last summer]: ‘I want to change now’. So they told me: ‘Stay this year, help us. Next year, you can take the next step’.
“The fans already know that I have this desire to play in the Champions League, to go there to earn a call-up to the Brazilian national team. I need to play at a much better level, so I think it’s a matter of time.”
