Kenyan comedian Fred Omondi is dead after he was involved in a road accident Friday evening.
Fred is the younger brother to Eric Omondi, also a comedian and recently turned activist.
He is reported to have died in a road accident and taken to Mama Lucy hospital.
The news of his death was announced by comedian and content creator Terence Creative through his Instagram.
Terence Creative remembered the deceased as a brother with whom he shared the stage with numerous times and who has been a part of his career growth.
“TODAY AT 6 AM I RECEIVED THE SADDEST CALL EVER Inauma saana…… Fred I thank God for the time He gave us together bro, you’ve been part of my career and growth in the industry, you always treated me as a brother and hosted me when I had nowhere to go, gave me a stage, and paid me, together we started club comedy shows,” wrote Terence.

“I will always treasure the moment we shared the stage together from Tribeka, Taj Mall, Hearts, I club till we got to Churchill show and then to hosting our first TV show together KTN Crazy Comedy. Together we suffered, we learned and together we inspired, made people laugh, and created great memories.
“I have a lot to say about but all I can say bro is that you did well and you shall be remembered and missed, Go well bro.”
Today, Fred had planned to spend his weekend in Meru as shared on his Instagram stories.
