In a separate incident, police have launched investigations after gunmen raided a petrol station at Adams Arcade on Ngong Road in Nairobi and robbed the attendants of petroleum products worth about Sh500,000.

According to a police report, the gang arrived at the station in a car on Thursday morning and asked where they could get a cup of tea.

During the conversation, the gunmen got out of the car, pushed the attendant into one of the rooms, and ordered him to lie down before tying his hands from behind.

Three of his accomplices then joined him in the sales room, where a variety of oil products are sold, and packed several oil products into a sack and loaded it into their vehicle before driving off.

Police have since recovered CCTV from the station and a team of detectives are going through it to see if they can identify the gang behind the attack.
