Differences in Ruto’s camp as Moses Kuria clashes with Kimani Wamatangi in Kiambu Rally
Moses Kuria clashes with Kimani Wamatangi in Kiambu Rally displaying another fallout within the Kenya Kwanza coalition.
Differences continue to play out in Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza coalition after Gatundu South Member of Parliament, Moses Kuria, and Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi clashed during a joint Kiambu rally held on Saturday, July 9.
Both leaders are seeking the Kiambu governorship under the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
Moses Kuria is vying on his own Chama cha Kazi while Wamatangi is on a UDA party ticket.

However, while a joint Kiambu rally Moses Kuria clashed with Wamatangi claiming that Wamatangi was seeking votes for his own bid and did not bother to garner support for their coalition party leader, William Ruto.
“This earth is hard. I have been on the campaign trail with Sen Kimani Wamatangi for 11 hours today. Not once did he ask people to vote for William Ruto,” Kuria stated.
He added that he was the best bet to transform the lives of Kiambu residents.
The two politicians rallied their supporters to vote for their bid.
However, Wamatangi’s efforts to address the crowd were futile as Kuria’s supporters chanted in perfect unison.
During the clash, Kuria was spotted dancing in jubilation atop his vehicle while Wamatangi making his remarks.
This comes as another dramatic confrontation between Wamatangi and Tujibebe Party leader, William Kabogo, where the duo had a public showdown during Gachagua’s tour in Limuru last month.
