Speaking in Kitui County on Friday, Kindiki insisted that the recent violence in the protests was a result of political incitement.
He added that some politicians believed that they were untouchable, warning that the government would not sit back and watch them incite Kenyans.
“I saw some politicians talking with arrogance, believing that this is a joke. This is not a laughing matter. We will not allow, as the government, any attempt to destroy the stability and security of Kenya,” he stated.
“They are people who say they are warriors and cannot be arrested… We are not going to wait for the chaos to happen. We will come to you from your house. That is how we even deal with Al Shabaab?”

On the other hand, he hit out at some churches and diplomats. According to Kindiki, some of the remarks made by the groups prior to the protests were inciteful.
“Do they think they know Kenya better than us?” he stated.
Notably, Kindiki made the remarks after Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen termed the protests as an attempted coup.
In his presser, he claimed that some politicians were keen on illegally removing the President William Ruto regime from power.
Particularly, Ruto allies pointed a finger at former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
In rebuttal, Gachagua stated that the goons who caused havoc in the CBD were state-sponsored.
“We have seen the CS for Interior pretentiously visiting shops that were looted by state-sponsored goons in an attempt to hide his guilt. Mr. Murkomen, Kenyans are not fools,” Gachagua responded.
“Your police allowed goons into town at their expense to go and cause mayhem and place the blame on the Gen Zs.”
