Azimio accuses UDA agents of photocopying amended forms 34B before sneaking them to the verification table clerks.

As the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission continues the verification process of presidential results at BOMAS, tensions have been running high with party agents accusing each other of mischief.

On Friday, 12, August, Uasin Gishu Woman Representative Gladys Boss Shollei was put on the spot accused of mischief to interfere with the verification process.

Azimio accuses UDA agents of mischief

Azimio accused Gladys Boss Shollei of sneaking in documents at the verification desk.

The Azimio side said she was photocopying amended forms 34B before sneaking them to the verification table clerks for the announcement by the IEBC as the verified results. 

It was the Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang, an Azimio agent who spotted her and raised alarm over the matter.

Former Nairobi Woman Representative Rachel Shebesh and Homabay County Governor-elect, Gladys Wanga also accused Shollei of mischief and were joined by Opiyo Wandayi (Ugunja) and TJ Kajwang.

Shollei, however, denied any wrongdoing. 

She was be heard shouting “I have done nothing wrong” as a crowd milled around her.

It took the intervention of IEBC commissioners to calm down the Azimio agents who wanted her ejected from the auditorium. 

The situation later normalized and results verification process went on smoothly.
