Former Law Society of Kenya president Nelson Havi has called on former Chief Justices Willy Mutunga and David Maraga to consider running for the presidency.

Havi, a vocal critic of the current government’s alleged misconduct and policies, emphasised that the country deserves a wise and experienced leader capable of bringing about transformation.

“CJ Dr. Willy Mutunga SC or CJ David Maraga must sacrifice their retirement and offer themselves for election as President of the Republic of Kenya. We need a wise old man to return this social contract to factory settings,” he said.
