The Ministry of Labour has announced that it will conduct a recruitment drive for overseas jobs at the Jesus Winner Ministry in Roysambu, Nairobi County.

In a statement on Tuesday, March 4, the Ministry said the exercise will take place on Wednesday, March 5 and Thursday, March 6 2025 between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

“There will be a recruitment exercise at Jesus Winner Ministry, Roysambu, Nairobi, tomorrow, Wednesday, 5th March, and Thursday, 6th March 2025, from 8 am to 5 pm,” the statement read in part.

The Ministry noted that there are many job categories available including nurses, drivers, delivery riders, hospitality workers, constriction workers and seafarers.

The Labour Ministry also revealed that successful candidates in the recruitment exercise will be facilitated to get their passports within a day or two.

The ministry also noted that the government would provide options for funding for those who cannot afford processing fees, visas, medicals and tickets.

“The Government will faciltate those successfully recruited to acquire passports within a day or two. It will also provide options for funding for those who cannot afford processing fees, visas, medicals, tickets, etc,” the ministry added.

Further, it said the initiative is in line with the Government’s commitment to providing meaningful employment to Kenyans while ensuring fair terms and conditions of work.

The announcement comes a day after President William Ruto attended a church service at the Jesus Winner Ministry.

Speaking during the service on Sunday, the Head of State promised to help a Nairobi church raise money to put up a futuristic worship centre which is expected to cost over Ksh1.2 billion.

The president, in his personal capacity, pledged Ksh 20 million toward the church’s construction and said he would mobilise his friends for a fundraiser with a target of Ksh 100 million.

“I have accepted to attend your fund drive. In the fundraiser, I will go organise with my friends and look for Ksh 100 million,” Ruto stated.
