The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection has announced numerous job opportunities in a partnership with several recruitment agencies for positions in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

In a statement on Tuesday, October 28, Labour Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua invited qualified Kenyan candidates to participate in upcoming interviews this week.

The recruitment drive will see interviews conducted at two locations over three days: NITA Mombasa on Wednesday, October 29, NITA Athi River on Thursday, October 30, and Friday, October 31, 2025.

The Dubai openings include 350 taxi driver positions for candidates aged 22 to 45 years, and 500 riders and delivery drivers aged between 21 and 38 years.

Additionally, there are 300 vacancies for warehouse workers, e-pickers, and helpers for applicants aged 21 to 40 years, alongside 150 security guard positions.

Security guard applicants must be between 21 and 38 years old, stand at least 5’7″ tall, and demonstrate fluency in English.

Other available positions include male and female cleaners, waitresses, and hotel housekeepers aged 22 to 35 years.

The construction sector is also hiring 175 masons, steel fixers, carpenters, and general labourers aged between 21 and 45 years.

Dubai positions come with attractive benefits, including two-year renewable contracts, free accommodation, meals, transport, and medical coverage. Workers will also receive overtime pay per UAE labour laws and are entitled to 30 days of annual leave.

Saudi Arabia’s government is recruiting 50 drivers and 25 mechanics, all aged between 21 and 45. These positions offer two-year contracts with accommodation, food, transport, and medical insurance included.

Interested candidates must bring their national identification cards, school certificates, passports or proof of passport application, passport photos, and any relevant academic or work-related documents to the interview venues.

The ministry noted that a mandatory commission covers air tickets, medical examinations, training, service fees, visa fees, and documentation costs for all jobs.

This comes less than a month after the ministry announced 8,972 job opportunities for Kenyans seeking employment abroad.

In mid-September, CS Mutua revealed openings across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Serbia, spanning multiple sectors for both skilled and semi-skilled workers.
