Guardiola Warns Steven Gerrard Over the Title Race
Guardiola Warns Steven Gerrard Over the Title Race Ahead Manchester City Clash With Aston Villa.
Pep Guardiola has warned Aston Villa that his side will give “all of their lives” to win the Premier League title this weekend.
Aston Villa could play a significant role in the title race.
Man City will host Villa for the final EPL game in desperate need of three points on Sunday.
Only a win will do for Guardiola as Liverpool are one point off the top spot coming into the final weekend of the season.
Liverpool will host Wolves at Anfield hoping City to drop points. If Liverpool wins their game and the city loses, Klopp’s men will be league winners but it’s a wait-and-see moment.

However, the City boss has promised that his players will leave nothing on the pitch in protecting their top-flight crown.
“I can assure you something – that we will give them all of our lives to do it,” he said. “It’s an incredible privilege to have the chance to become champions in front of our people at home and I’m looking forward to it.
“We will rest for a couple of days and try to be ready for Villa but the positive thing is it’s still in our hands. They are desperate to win it and we have showed that all season.”
Guardiola added: “I have a feeling every time you win a title it gets more difficult. But this is what you expect when you are up against a team like Liverpool. We know we can’t make a mistake.”
