Raila assures his supporters they are going to get their stolen victory back urging them to remain steadfast.

Azimio Chief Raila Odinga has urged his supporters to remain firm in the resolve to change the direction the nation should take.

Raila said he does not need people who want to change the direction he wishes, that the nation should take.

“Stand firm, I know where I want us to go, we don’t want those people who want to change it,” he said.

Speaking in Luanda on Saturday, Raila said that they are going to get their victory back.

“They took our ‘cow’ and ran with it. We are going to get our cow back, how many want us to get our cow back?” He poised even as locals applauded.

The Azimio leader said some of the promises that the administration made to Kenyans that they will reduce prices of basic commodities including the cost of living were false because instead everything has skyrocketed.

Raila added that the Kenya Kwanza administration did not have any intention of building the country’s economy but majored on, on propaganda with no plans.

“Taxes have increased everywhere. They were claiming that former President Uhuru Kenyatta was the one bringing problems but he’s gone and they have done nothing, no change,” he said.

Raila added that the current administration didn’t have any plans for Kenyans and instead lied to the people.

“When we talked about the Sh 6,000, we knew where we would get that money from,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Opposition chief said he will only walk with people who are firm in their resolve.

” I want to only walk with firm people,” he said.

This was in response to Azimio MPs who had visited President Ruto at the State House.

The meeting ended up sparking a public debate on the loyalty of the MPs who went to see Ruto.

Raila claimed that leaders who went to see Ruto are traitors.

He said they should resign from the party and Azimio coalition.

“Members who defected from Azimio need to resign their position and go,” he said.

But Raila says instead the MPs visit the President with the pretense that they want development.
