Former Citizen TV News Anchor Jacque Maribe lands a government job at Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria’s office.

Former media personality Jacque Maribe has landed a communication job at the Ministry of Public Service.

CS Kuria hired the former Former Citizen TV News Anchor to serve as the Head of Communications, barely a month after she was acquitted in the murder of the late Monica Kimani.

Digital Strategist Dennis Itumbi celebrated Maribe’s feat by thanking the Public Service CS for ‘standing with a generation.’

“Congratulations, Jacque Maribe. May God bless you as you serve,” shared the digital strategist.

“Thank you Honourable Moses Kuria for standing with a generation, please keep doing good and stretching your hand.”

Jacque Maribe appointment comes a month after she was acquitted of murder charges in businesswoman Monica Kimani’s case.

Justice Grace Nzioka said she was not properly charged before the court, saying she was liable and guilty of issuing false information to the police regarding the murder probe,

On his part, the first accused, Jowie Irungu, was found guilty of murdering the businesswoman at her Lamuria gardens in September, 2018.

Irungu’s sentencing has been moved to Wednesday, March 13th.
