Jurrien Timber Man United transfer talks
Jurrien Timber Man United transfer talks update with the Ajax defender deal likely to cost around £43million.
Manchester United is allegedly in negotiations with Ajax defender Jurrien Timber over a potential £43 million transfer.
The 20-year-old can play center-back or full-back and was a crucial player for Erik ten Hag at Ajax until the Dutch tactician took over as manager of Manchester United this summer.
United have defensive concerns, with players like Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof not good enough for a club.

According to the Guardian, Ten Hag is now keen to make Timber one of his first signings at his new club.
The Guardian report Manchester United are in the ‘initial stages’ for talks to sign the defender.
The Dutch club value Timber at £43 million (50m Euros), with the report stating Manchester United, have made contact with Ajax over a move.
Timber’s representatives are also reported to have been negotiating at Manchester United’s offices in London.
Timber won Ajax’s talent of the year award this past season, a decision Erik ten Hag described as a ‘no brainer’, per Voetball International.
Sky Germany reported a month ago that Bayern Munich were keen on Timber, but Manchester United appears to be the frontrunner.
The Mirror also reports Timber is one of two priority signings the new manager wants at Old Trafford, along with striker Darwin Nunez.
