Kalonzo dismisses reports of dumping Raila vowing to support Azimio leader’s call for a series of demonstrations.
On Friday, January 27, Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka sought to clarify his position regarding Azimio La Umoja leader Raila Odinga’s demand for a series of protests in Nairobi.
In response to a false media alert, Kalozo declared his unwavering support for Raila.
The former vice president urged Kenyans to maintain their composure and avoid getting distracted by spreaders of false information.
Kalonzo also cautioned Kenyans against consuming false information on social media platforms via his communications director, Paloma Gatabaki.
“Our attention has been drawn to a poster with the NTV logo attributing comments to Wiper Party Leader, Kalonzo Musyoka.
“This is the definition of fake news! Kenyans will know when Stephen Kaolozo Musyoka speaks,” Gatabaki clarified on Twitter.

The Azimio La Umoja leaders later proceeded to Kamukunji Grounds in Kibera, where they conducted their protest rally.
At the Kamukunji rally, the August 2022 General Elections’ conduct formed the basis of the event, with politicians claiming that Kenya Kwanza leaders rigged the presidential election.
The Azimio leaders scheduled a series of rallies at the Jacaranda Grounds, where they intend to address their supporters on Sunday, January 29.
