Wiper leader and Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party Co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has proposed the appointment of Former Nairobi Town Clerk Philip Kisia as the new Executive Director of the coalition.
Kisia, if appointed, is set to replace Raphael Tuju who has been holding the position.
Addressing the media on Monday, Musyoka praised Kisia’s extensive experience across public service, private sector leadership, and community engagement, describing him as uniquely qualified to lead Azimio’s Secretariat.
“I propose that Mr Philip Kisia be appointed as the new Executive Director of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party to take over from Hon. Raphael Tuju.”
“Mr Kisia’s extensive experience in public service, private sector leadership, and community engagement, makes him uniquely qualified to lead Azimio’s Secretariat as it transitions to an all-inclusive and progressive Coalition,” Musyoka stated.

Philip Kisia, a prominent figure in Kenya’s governance and business circles, has held key positions, including serving as the Nairobi City Council Town Clerk.
In the same statement, Musyoka also expressed gratitude to Zein Abubakar for his dedicated service as the head of his Presidential Secretariat over the past six months
“I wish to thank Hon. Zein Abubakar for accepting to lead my Presidential Secretariat for the last six months. His rich and prolific academic background combined with years of activism has already enriched our growing People’s Team,” Musyoka remarked.
Looking to the future, Musyoka revealed plans to unveil additional members of his team, who are committed to challenging dictatorship and restoring constitutional democracy in the country.
