NARC Kenya party leader Hon Martha Karua has reacted to Plo Lumumba after he asked the former prime minister Hon Raila Odinga not to march to the statehouse to protest against president William Ruto’s government.

Instead of trying to discourage Kenyans from using their democratic rights against president William Ruto’s administration, Karua urged PLO Lumumba to use his platform to denounce abuses.

“Prof PLO Lumumba Dear brother use your voice to call out injustices more than to dissuade Kenyans from exercising their democratic rights. Let’s grow not to stifle democracy, let’s uproot Electoral deceit”.Martha Karua to professor Plo Lumumba through her official Twitter account.

Karua’s response comes after the re-known lawyer urged ODM Leader Raila Odinga to use his experience and influence as a politician to protect the country.

Speaking during an interview with Citizen TV, Lumumba said the country is governed by the Constitution, and that he should not march on State House, but rather use the right procedure.

“To Raila, however, aggrieved you are, use your experience and influence to protect Kenya. Do not march to State House,” he said.

“There is a process which is prescribed by the constitution. That process did not make you the President of Kenya.”

On March 14, Raila declared Monday, March 20 a public holiday, to allow Azimio supporters to travel to participate in the mass action against what he termed as an illegitimate government.
