In an advert on Tuesday March 25, KenGen called on interested candidates to apply for the positions.

The vacancies include; General Manager Corporate Services, General Manager Commercial Services, General Manager Supply Chain, Manager Corporate Finance, Manager ICT – Digital Infrastructure, and Manager ICT – Business Applications.

Others are; Manager, Internal Audit, Manager, Enterprise Risk Management, Assistant Manager, Innovation, Principal Legal Officer, Reservoir Engineers/Scientists, Electrical Engineers (Steam field), and Legal Officer.

How to apply.

KenGen urged candidates to send application letters, detailed CVs, and certificates to kgnexecjobs@kengen.co.ke or deliver hard copies to the office of the KenGen Managing Director.

The deadline for the applications is April 15, 2025.

“Application letters, detailed CVs, and certificates are to be sent to kgnexecjobs@kengen.co.ke or hardcopy delivered to the office of the Managing Director & CEO, Stima Plaza, Pension Plaza II, 10th Floor, P.O Box 47936 – 00100 Nairobi with the reference number of the job applied clearly indicated on the envelope and application letter by 15th April 2025, 5.00 p.m,” the advert stated.

At the same time, KenGen said canvassing and falsifying or misrepresentation of qualifications will lead to automatic disqualification.

The company also pointed out that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.

“KenGen is an equal opportunity Employer. Women, PWDs, and those from marginalized areas are encouraged to apply,” KenGen stated.

Further, KenGen stated that successful candidates will be expected to present a valid certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, a clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), a tax compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), current clearance certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and current report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
