Kivutha slams Kalonzo Musyoka over his State House ambitions in 2027 warning him of a total failure.
According to the former governor of Makueni, Kivutha Kibwana, Kalonzo is still third in line to succeed President William Ruto if anything was to go by.
In a statement released on Monday, November 28, Kibwana re-initiated his post-election spat with Kalonzo, claiming that even if he began campaigning early for 2027 as Ruto did for the 2022 elections, Kalonzo would never enter the State House.
He criticized Kalonzo for allegedly adopting the tactic and asserted that the Wiper leader would hand the torch to a different presidential candidate in 2027.
“Isn’t it premature for the Wiper Party leader to begin 2027 campaigns? From 2008, 2013, 2017, and now 2022, Kalonzo assured his community ‘his turn has come, and finally, he ‘Toshas’ Raila.
“The enigma is still around; Martha is also waiting. When will the Kamba Nation call the Kalonzo bluff?” Kibwana questioned.
However, several Kenyans clapped back at Kivutha Kibwana, accusing him of being envious of Kalonzo Musyoka.
“Yours is green envy against Kalonzo. Ruto’s campaign started immediately after 2017. We as the people from the Lake region will vote for him to the last man,” another stated.
Kibwana’s statement came hours after Kalonzo pledged to campaign immediately after the August poll.
The Wiper Party leader has been out to build the foundation for his bid, starting from his home region.
