How to verify registration details for the 2022 Certificate; Grade Six, Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, and Kenya Certificate of Primary Education candidates.
The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has announced an SMS platform for 2022 Grade Six, Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), and Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCSE) candidates to check registration details.
The examination body issued a statement on Saturday, May 28 advising school officials and parents to double-check that their students have been properly registered for the November and December exams.

Details could be obtained by forwarding examination details to the SMS number 20076, according to KNEC.
“Headteachers, parents, and candidates can now confirm the registration details for 2022 KPSEA, KCPE, and KCSE examinations by sending an SMS to 20076. Use this format; (Exam)(Index Number), for example; KCPE36611030002, and send to 20076. You will receive a confirmation message,” KNEC stated.
This will be the first time that Grade Six students are assessed under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) before joining junior secondary school.
