KRA announces recruitment drive for commissioners, managers
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has rolled out a major recruitment drive that aims to develop a skilled and adaptable workforce to bolster service delivery to taxpayers.
According to the tax body, the drive covers a wide range of roles from leadership to operational positions.
Some of the positions advertised include three commissioner roles, twelve deputy commissioner roles as well as other managerial positions.
“This reflects the Authority’s commitment to attracting a diverse and highly qualified pool of candidates in support of its mandate to drive national development through effective revenue mobilization,” said KRA in a statement issued on Monday morning.
The recruitment was announced as the authority is reviewing its organizational structure to address current and future institutional needs.

“The restructuring aims to address both current and future institutional needs by enhancing workforce flexibility, operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation,” stated KRA
The transformation, according to KRA, will enhance its workforce capacity which is currently over 9000 staff as well as bolstering its ability to navigate tax administration complexities, consistently deliver high quality services and offer a swift response to emerging challenges.
Furthermore, the authority also reiterated its commitment to foster a recruitment process that upholds the transparency and is merit-based to ensure that they attract and retain the best talent.
