The results are for the 2024 KCSE candidates who qualified for admission to universities, colleges, and other tertiary institutions across the country
The KUCCPS placement process is a centralized system managed by the government to ensure fair and merit-based placement of students into institutions of higher learning.
The process considers a candidate’s KCSE performance, their chosen programmes and institutions, and the available capacity in each programme.
Candidates can now check their placement results via the KUCCPS student portal or through SMS.

How to check KUCCPS placement online
Step 1: Visit the KUCCPS website https://kuccps.net/
Step 2: Click on the Student’s Portal link or go directly to https://students.kuccps.net/login/
Step 3: Log in using:
- KCSE Index Number
- KCSE Examination Year (e.g., 2024)
- Password (your KCPE index number or birth certificate number)
Step 4: Once logged in, you will see the name of the institution you’ve been placed in and the programme you will pursue.
How to check KUCCPS placement via SMS
Step 1: Open your phone’s SMS application.
Step 2: Send your KCSE index number (starting with the year and without spaces) to 20842.
Step 3: You will receive a text message with your placement details, including the name of the institution and the programme.
