List of 10 candidates shortlisted for Registrar of Political Parties position

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has shortlisted 10 candidates for the position of Registrar of Political Parties.

In a notice issued on Wednesday, August 8, the PSC stated that the shortlisted candidates will be interviewed on Monday, August 11, 2025.
The shortlisted candidates include: Ali Abdullahi Surrar from Mandera, Sophia Kaindi Sitati Mudhengi from Nyeri, Geoffrey Obonyo (PWD) from Kisii, Evelynne Cherotich Koiyan from Narok, and Aloyce Peter Ndege from Kisumu.
Others are Mercy Kalondu Wambua (Machakos), Dr. Manna W. E. Rodgers (Bungoma), Rahma Adan Jillo (Marsabit), Lorionokou John Cox (West Pokot), and Florence Tabu Birya (Kilifi)
At the same time, PSC shortlisted 10 candidates for the Assistant Registrar of Political Parties.
They include: Seth Odhiambo Onyango, Josephine Kirion Ergaeo, Simon Owawa Nyamolo (PWD), Chebett Koske, Julius Cheche, Peter Mutui, Agatha Wanjiku Wahome, Mohamed Abdullahi Abdi, Robert Psakit Botter, and Gilbert William Opanga.
The interviews will be conducted at the PSC offices on Harambee Avenue, Nairobi.
The shortlisted candidates are required to arrive at the venue at least twenty minutes before the scheduled start time.

PSC noted that the candidates should bring originals of the National Identity Card, Academic and Professional Certificates and transcripts, and any other supporting documents and testimonials.
They are also required to have current and valid clearances from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), any of the Registered Credit Reference Bureaus, Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Police Clearance Certificate) and a letter of recognition of qualifications from the Commission for University Education (CUE) for any degree obtained from foreign universities.
Further, the commission urged members of the public to provide any information of interest relating to the shortlisted candidates through sworn affidavits to the Secretary/CEO via email registrarpp2025@publicservice.go.ke.
The affidavits can also be hand delivered to the Office of the Secretary/CEO, Public Service Commission situated on the 4th floor Commission House, Harambee Avenue, Nairobi by Friday, August 8, 2025.
