Liverpool agree transfer deal for Man Utd target
Liverpool agree transfer deal for Manchester United target who wants a move to Anfield this summer transfer window
Darwin Nunez, a transfer target for Manchester United, appears to have slipped through the cracks this summer.
The Benfica star has sparked a lot of attention this summer after scoring 34 goals in all competitions.
Nunez impressed in the Champions League as Benfica advanced to the quarterfinals, and he has emerged as one of the most sought-after players in the summer transfer season.
United is one of the clubs that has been heavily associated, although they are by no means the only one.
Liverpool agree transfer deal
According to Record, Liverpool have now met Benfica’s asking price of £85million, and they appear to be closing in on a deal.
United could follow by doing the same, but according to the report, Nunez has already informed his current club that he wants to join Liverpool.
That could be a huge blow for United and, of course, Erik ten Hag, who is in desperate need of improvements ahead of his first season in charge at Old Trafford.
