Police launch investigation after man hacks daughter to death following a quarrel with wife in Busia.
Police in Adungosi, in Teso South Constituency, Busia County have arrested a 30-year-old Ugandan man for hacking his one-and-a-half-year-old daughter to death.
Reports indicate that the suspect, who worked as a local herdsman, became enraged after a dispute with his wife, who reportedly left their matrimonial home after their quarrel.

In a horrifying act of violence, the suspect allegedly directed his anger towards his innocent child, using a panga to attack and kill her.
Area residents viciously descended on the suspect following his actions but he was rescued by police who arrived at the scene. He was subsequently placed under arrest pending arraignment.
The toddler’s body has since been moved to Alupe Hospital morgue for storage as investigations into the incident continue.
