A man in Nyamira kills self after he allegedly jumped into a well-after dispute with his wife.
Police in Manga Sub-County, Nyamira County, are looking into the death of a middle-aged man who on Sunday, November 13, allegedly flung himself into a well in Nyagware-Omogonchoro village.
Clinton Kabiero is said to have left his motorcycle before jumping into the well, following a reported domestic dispute with his wife.
A police report claimed that Kabiero had made suicide threats, prompting his mother to attempt to calm him down.
However, in an unfortunate turn of events, he jumped into the well.

Efforts to retrieve Kabiero’s body from the well took over five hours, involving collaboration between the police and emergency services personnel from Nyamira County, as well as local residents.
In another unfortunate incident, a 36-year-old man, Musa Stephen, hacked his 70-year-old mother, Ntengure Rashid, to death after a domestic dispute.
Musa went ahead to attack his sister with the same panga, leaving her with serious head injuries.
Speaking to journalists, the assailant’s other sister, Fatuma Mwakunyoa, said he walked into their mother’s house while she was asleep and hacked her to death.
