A man mysteriously kills self in Migori County just a few hours after visiting his sick wife in hospital.
Police in Migori County are investigating the death of a man who died by suicide in his house in North Kanyajuok on Wednesday, a few hours after visiting his sick wife in hospital.
The man, who was in his 60s, was discovered dead inside the house of his younger wife, who is receiving medical attention at Rongo Sub-County Hospital, according to the area chief David Onyango.
The man is said to have hung himself inside the house.

According to Onyango, the family members of the deceased got suspicious after they didn’t see him get up as early as normal.
It is after going to the house they found his dead body in the midmorning.
The area chief said the family indicated that the man looked disturbed from the time he came from the hospital after visiting his sick wife.
Onyango appealed to members of the public to pursue other ways of addressing their challenges.
