The victim, a finance manager at an IT solution company along Muthangari Drive, had withdrawn the cash for office work.
He then walked to his car and set off to his offices. But before arriving at the office a car blocked his way.
Two men, one wearing traffic police uniforms jumped out and ordered him to lower the windshield before they forced their way in.

The thugs then handcuffed him, leaving his car on the road with the ignition keys on. His mobile phone was also left in the car as the two grabbed a bag that contained the cash.
They jumped onto their car that had made a u-turn and sped off.
All this drama was captured on security cameras in the area.
Police visited the scene and announced they had launched investigations into the same.
The police also visited the bank to confirm the same claims. Such incidents have been on the rise in various places.
Police investigations show some of them happen after suspects hang in banking halls and monitor transactions before stalking and attacking their victims.
