Man United following up on Jonathan David to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, Fabrizio Romano

Fabrizio Romano states that Man United are following up on Jonathan David to replace Cristiano Ronaldo in the January transfer.

Manchester United will have to pay LOSC Lille around ‘£45-50m’ for Canadian striker Jonathan David.

That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who spoke about potential forwards the Red Devils could sign in January on The United Stand.

Following Cristiano Ronaldo’s contentious conversation with Piers Morgan, it seems possible that Manchester United may be looking for a new striker.

David, according to Romano, is a player who might be made available to them in January.

“He could be available in January, I’m told. Of course, the price could be a big one, let’s see what happens with Canada at the World Cup, but I’m told it could be around £45-50m.”

David could be a decent pick-up as he’s got nine goals so far this season in Ligue 1, while he netted 15 times last season and 13 the season before that.
