Manchester City will regret selling Sterling with another star ‘getting closer’ to leaving the club

Manchester City will regret selling Sterling, Aguero says with another City star ‘getting closer’ to leaving the club.

Manchester City legend, Sergio Aguero, has faulted the club’s decision to sell Raheem Sterling to Chelsea.

Sterling ended his seven-year stint at Manchester City by joining Chelsea in a £50 million deal.

However, Aguero speaking on his Twitch channel, said that Man City may regret its decision to sell Sterling.

Aguero claimed that Man City has a habit of making ‘strange decisions’, adding that he doesn’t understand why the Premier League champions would allow Sterling to leave the Etihad.

“I don’t understand the sale of Sterling.

“There are times they (Manchester City) make strange decisions.”

Bernardo Silva‘getting closer’ to leaving club

Meanwhile, the Manchester City star is ‘getting closer to leaving the club with Barcelona working to sign him.

According to the Catalan newspaper, Portugal international is now ‘optimism’ that the move can happen.

Barcelona’s economic levers, which are basically loans secured on future income repackaged to sound like financial genius rather than recklessness, have enabled them to bring in a chunk of money this summer and carry signings that few thought possible.

Sport says Bernardo Silva would fall into that group, and there’s again insistence that Barcelona would have the will of the Manchester City star.

They believe they can carry out the signing and there’s a rush to get it done before the start of La Liga.

Despite all of that there’s no mention of what transfer fee would be required, and it’s again explained that Frenkie de Jong would need to leave before Bernardo Silva could arrive.
