Manchester United plot late move for Nordi Mukiele as Wana Bissaka’s replacement
Manchester United plot late move for RB Leipzig right-back Nordi Mukiele with Wana Bissaka facing uncertainty at United.
Manchester United have already signed three new players in Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, and Lisandro Martinez, and are still expecting to add Frenkie de Jong this summer.
The Red Devils are now planning to make a move for RB Leipzig right-back Nordi Mukiele.
However, Paris Saint-Germain are leading the race to sign him at the moment.
Erik ten Hag is also hoping to bring in a right-back but that is dependent on Aaron Wan-Bissaka leaving Manchester United in the ongoing window.
Wana Bissaka had to endure a tough season in the 2021/2022 campaign and one thing is clear, Erik Ten Hag won’t think twice when it is about transforming his team.
The 24-year-old future at Manchester United is uncertain at the moment, Rangnick replaced him for Diogo Dalot and so has Erik Ten Hag.
Mukiele is one of the players Manchester United have been tracking as a potential solution this summer.
And according to French sports daily L’Equipe, the club are looking to step up on their efforts to sign him later in the window if Wan-Bissaka leaves.
The 24-year-old is claimed to be preferring a move to PSG over other clubs at this stage of the summer.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester United look to try and sign Mukiele a little earlier given PSG are now trying to rope him in.
