Moi University to sell cattle, donkeys and dogs in public auction

Moi University in Eldoret is set to dispose off cows, donkeys and dogs in an auction as members of the public are invited to view them from tomorrow (Friday) until Monday next week before public auction on June 24, 2025.

In a notice, Moi University Vice Chancellor Prof. Kiplagat Kotut indicated that the said animals and vehicles will be auctioned at the farm yard, main campus in Kesses, Uasin Gishu County.

Donkeys are sold between Ksh. 9,000 and Ksh.15,000 each and a pig goes for Ksh.3,500 to Ksh.7,000 each. 

The university is also disposing a Toyota Hilux vehicle at Kshs.350, 000.
