Moses Kuria accuses Ruto of deceit, “I have never seen the Kenya Kwanza Agreement”

Moses Kuria accuses Ruto of deceit and conmanship saying the deputy president refused to share the coalition agreement details.

Cracks within the Kenya Kwanza Alliance continue to deepen after Chama Cha Kazi party leader and Kiambu gubernatorial candidate Moses Kuria accused politicians allied to Deputy President William Ruto of frustrating partner parties.

Speaking on Sunday 19, on Citizen Tv, Kuria said Ruto’s UDA party was sidelining other parties within Kenya Kwanza in the planning of campaigns with the Mt Kenya region.

He specifically named Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungw’a and former Thika town MP Alice Ng’ang’a for hatching a plan to sideline affiliate parties through secret meetings.

“When it comes to events in Mt Kenya, organization meetings are held exclusively by UDA and we are thrown out. For me, it’s sad and strange. to make matters worse, aspirants from UDA are warned from associating with me or Governor Kabogo which truly is against the spirit of the alliance,” Kuria said.

He added, “We find this to be dishonest and I find it to be when we talk about the politic of deceit and conmanship which made us run away from Jubilee, I find this more exemplified by what is happening against us in Mt Kenya region as opposed to what we are fighting Jubilee about.”

“All was well but what we saw this week, the likes of Kimani Ichungwah, the likes of Alice Ng’ang’a directly warning MCAs from associating with Moses Kuria and Kabogo,” he stated.

Kuria went on to explain that he had never seen the coalition’s agreement.

Other affiliate parties were kept in the dark about the power-sharing pact between Deputy President William Ruto, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi, and Moses Wetangula of FORD-Kenya.

“I have never seen the agreement. I just hear about it that ANC would get 30 percent.”

“The agreement we signed is that our share of government is going to be commensurate with our efforts and that is why we are complaining about our efforts being curtailed. How can we have meetings to plot against partners?” Kuria posed.
