Musalia Mudavadi, the secretary to the prime minister’s cabinet, has supported the Competency-Based Curriculum as a significant government effort to raise Kenyan school standards.

Speaking on Monday, December 5 at the Commonwealth Trade and Investment Summit in London, Mudavadi said that the CBC develops young people’s skills at a young age.

“In Kenya, we are now introducing CBC so that we can enhance the talents of the young people at a very early age and be able to prepare themselves for the future,” Musalia indicated.

The CBC is a significant component of Kenya’s attempts to improve knowledge transfer and capacity building for the nation’s young people, according to the Prime CS.

In addition, the Prime Cabinet Secretary praised the Hustler Fund for giving Kenyan small-business owners wider access to loans.

“We had the Hustler Fund targeting the very small people through technology, without middlemen,” Mudavadi indicated.

The Kenya Kwanza government’s primary program, according to the Prime SC, will make sure that everyone in Kenya can start and manage a business.

The Hustler Fund was introduced by President William Ruto on November 30.

Mudavadi is attending the two-day Commonwealth Trade and Investment Summit that kicked off in London on Monday, December 5.

He is President Ruto’s representative to the conference, which the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council is hosting.

The conference is anticipated to examine, among other things, methods for a just and safe transition to sustainable energy, food security, and resilience.

Other issues to be discussed during the summit will be health technology and the future of health delivery and green finance.
