Revealed why Christiano Ronaldo is leaving Manchester United as his teammate Harry Maguires takes a swipe at him.
Harry Maguire is clearly not a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo after he reacted to a post hinting at Ronaldo’s exit.
Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford last summer from Juventus to excitement from players and fans.
However, despite the excitement, things did not quite well go to plan in Manchester.
Although the 37-year-old scored 24 goals, throughout all competitions, his presence among the squad has become the subject of much criticism.
Ronaldo’s position at United immediately led to allegations that despite all of his talent, he is more of a nuisance than a benefit.
He was rumored to be taking the limelight and practically undroppable owing to his name.
There was also an issue on who should be team captain after Maguire faced backlash due to poor performance.
Ronaldo has now asked to leave and there’s much speculation on why he’s leaving.
Revealed why Christiano Ronaldo is leaving
Although the reason for his desire to quit was initially reported because of United’s failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League, more recent reports suggest a salary decrease clause in his two-year contract is another major factor.

And reacting to the rumours, team captain Harry Maguire took the time to ‘like’ a post, which hinted at Ronaldo’s impending exit, on Instagram.
