The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) announces job opportunities for the county elections committee posts in the upcoming or grassroots elections.

In a statement, the party said that Kenyans should submit their applications by Monday, April 8, 2024, at 4 pm.

“The National Elections Board is mandated by the Party Constitution to plan, organize, direct, conduct, supervise and or coordinate all Party primaries, grassroots elections and nomination of candidates to Party Lists,” the statement read.

“The Board in pursuance to Rule 13 of the Party Primaries and Nomination Rules wishes to fill vacancies in County Elections Committees and hereby invites suitably qualified members to apply.”

According to the ODM National Elections Board, the applicants must state a county where they wish to serve.

The applicants must also be a life member of the party and in good standing for at least two years.

They must have post-secondary education and demonstrate involvement in the party’s programs and/or activities.

The Board wants applicants with experience in administration and those who possess basic computer literacy skills.

According to the statement, the applicants must have good communication skills.

They must also be a registered voter and/or resident in the County for which they have applied.

“The applications must be accompanied by a detailed curriculum vitae and a write-up of no more than 300 words demonstrating your participation in party activities,” the statement read.

The party encouraged women, youth, and persons with disabilities to apply.

ODM directed interested candidates for the job to send their documents to the Board via email at neb@odm.co.ke or may be delivered to the party’s headquarters at Chungwa House, along Loiyangalani Drive, Lavington, Nairobi.
