Orange Democratic Party (ODM) announces the death of Narok Town Member of County Assembly lawmaker; MCA Lucas Kudake.
In a statement on Friday, February 16, ODM said the Narok Town MCA passed away after battling a long illness.
The Raila Odinga party eulogized Kudake as a dedicated, hardworking, and loyal member who worked tirelessly to keep the party stronger.
“We regret to announce the passing on of Hon. Lucas Kudake, MCA Narok Town after a long illness bravely borne. ODM has lost a dedicated, hardworking and loyal member who worked tirelessly to keep the party stronger on the ground. We join his family in mourning this great man,” read the statement in part.
Kudake’s death comes barely two weeks after ODM Githuri Branch chairman Joseph Kihara passed away.
Kihara was laid to rest on February 7 at his home in Matuguta, Kiambu County.

“We have lost a loyal and dedicated member of the party who worked tirelessly to popularise the party in Kiambu. We shall miss him. RIP Chairman,” ODM said in a statement.
On January 29, ODM suffered a double tragedy following the deaths of Gem ODM Youth League chairman Aggrey Okoth Ombee and the immediate former MCA for Amukura-West Ward in Teso South Abiud Ochilang’ole.
The two ODM party members died after a short illness.
