A man in Teso North, Busia county, allegedly stabbed his brother to death over meat at a relative’s funeral.

According to reports, the two brothers allegedly engaged in a fight after they disagreed on who was to carry a liver meal at their relative’s funeral.

The man got infuriated during the argument, causing him to stab his brother in the stomach, killing him on the spot.

Reports add that the suspect ran away and hid in the nearby sugar plantations armed with a machete and threatened anyone who approached him.
